Koroška centre for Higher Education has, together with the University College of health Sciences Slovenj Gradec, prepared a project of generational cohabitation in the area of promoting the public health in the Municipality of Slovenj Gradec.

In stage 1 the student made seminar papers. Based on their presentations two groups were chosen and in April 2011 they presented their work to the residents of the Elderly home in Slovenj Gradec. The topics were physical activity for those who suffer from diseases of the coronary system and on the eating habits of the diabetes patients. As part of this, a survey was done on the topic of generational communication and cohabitation. The results of the survey were presented in May 2011 at the Congress of health and mid-wifery care in Maribor.
